  • Astrocytoma: These kinds of tumors form in the glial cells that are called astrocytes. They usually take place in the cerebrum, but may take place in other parts of the brain too.
  • Ependymomas: These tumors are known for occurring in the ventricles of the brain.
  • Glioblastoma: These kinds of tumors are nothing but fast growing astrocytoma. Just like astrocytoma, they take place in the glial cells.
