The dark hours haven’t come to an end yet. The notorious coronavirus has reappeared as a new variant, which has already become the prime concern. As a matter of fact, Omicron BF.7 is the latest variant of coronavirus that has higher neutralization resistance than the first kind of it that took place in Wuhan. The antibodies that the vaccines contain may not be effective enough against this specific variant. It is known as a sub-lineage of the Omicron BA.5 variant.
Some more scary tales are still left to say. This is a more transmissible variant, which means it may affect a larger number of people at a time that may cause a huge increment in the number of infected people. We still don’t know how many variants are yet to come, however, this one is reportedly the newest one that we are going to face.
Symptoms of Omicron BF.7
The symptoms don’t vary much from the other types of Covid-19. Fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, breathing complexion etc are some of the most common symptoms. However, stomach related complexions like vomiting and diarrhea may also take place if a person gets infected by Omicron BF.7.
Each and every person should keep in mind that this new variant is more likely to cause reinfection, which is another reason why all of us should start taking the precautionary measures more strictly. Knowingly, 4 cases of this new variant have been reported in India, which may quickly turn into four hundred if we don’t get aware and alert now.
A few people from countries like South Korea, Japan, United States, France and China have also got infected by this deadly virus. So it is better to take necessary precautions before the virus spreads mercilessly just like its other variants.
