Omicron BF.7 is knocking at the door : What should we do?

The terror came back with a new face. The latest omicron BF.7 variant has reportedly been found in India as well as countries like South Korea, USA, Japan, France etc. The new variant may not cause severe complexions, but it is reportedly more transmissible than the other variants and it is also having higher neutralization resistance than the first ever type of coronavirus that started spreading from Wuhan.
Symptoms of this new variant are the same as its previous variants such as fever, sore throat, cough etc. Our carelessness can be the reason for our sickness and this is why it is necessary now to stay alert every single second and take all the necessary precautions. Here are a few mentionable precautionary measures that you should take, even during the moments of enjoyment during the last day of the year as well as the first day of new year.
Precautions you should take to prevent Omicron BF.7
- Not a single moment should be spent outside without a mask that has at least three protective layers.
- Do not forget to use the alcohol based sanitizer every single time you touch any random object or surface.
- Wash your hands properly using any trustworthy hand wash every time you come back home from the outside
- Try to avoid public transport options if you own a vehicle, if not, then try your best not to get too close to anybody.
- Maintain a distance of at least two metres from any random person you meet.
- Keep maximum distance from people you know who are already infected.
- Get vaccinated and get the booster dose if you still haven’t.
- Seek medical attention at the first sign of trouble.
Apart from all these, try to stay away from unhealthy habits like smoking, which can weaken your respiratory issue and make you more vulnerable to this deadly virus. The new year is about to step in, let’s not make it a tragic year by catching the deadly infection. Take all the above mentioned precautionary measures everyday and consult a doctor to fetch more necessary information in this regard.
