  • Lifestyle routine: Some people increase their risk of insomnia for some daily habits. Some things including smoking, drinking alcohol, night shifts, exercising just before bedtime, and from drinking too much caffeine can also develop insomnia.
  • Old age: Insomnia can increase with getting older. Research has shown that old people are more likely to get insomnia than young people.

  • Impacts on mental health: Long term insomnia can affect your mental health. This can increase your chances of developing mental disorders including depression, frustration, anxiety disorder, and also it can weaken your memory power .
  • Additional effects of insomnia: Researchers have found that with insomnia you are more prone to having accidents while driving. Apart from this, having insufficient amounts of sleep may affect your productivity at work.

Treating insomnia is also very important, you can improve your quality of sleep by reducing stress and by changing some daily life habits.
