Hypertension or high blood pressure is a common health condition, which occurs when a force of blood pressures against your arteries walls. High blood pressure eventually may cause heart diseases as well. There are two types of blood pressure such as systolic pressure and diastolic pressure. Hypertension may be caused by many certain factors including unhealthy diet and inactive lifestyle. Untreated hypertension can be very dangerous for your overall health.
Symptoms:
If your blood pressure gets high, it may cause certain symptoms, such as
- Chest pain
- Headaches
- Fatigue
- Confusion
- Nervousness
- Error visions
- Irregular heartbeat
- Nosebleed
Causes
The exact causes of high blood pressure or hypertension are still specified. However, doctors have concluded that same factors may cause hypertension on high blood pressure, including:
- Stress
- Ageing
- Genetic
- Smoking
- Excessive alcohol consumption
- Having too much iodine in diet
- Thyroid disorder
- Kidney disease
- Obesity
Also, there are certain factors, some people are more likely to have high blood pressures, such as:
- People who have family history of high blood pressure issues
- Pregnant women
- Women who use birth control pills
- Aged people
- Obese people
